Since 2016, we've photographed over 3,500 families across more than 160 Sydney suburbs.

We specialise in relaxed, in-home family photography — from newborn snuggles to multigenerational hugs. Every moment is captured naturally and transformed into handcrafted wall art and albums you’ll treasure forever.

We’re not a one-person studio. We're a close-knit team of photographers, editors, and support staff working together to give you a consistent, high-quality experience. Many of our families return to us year after year — knowing they’ll get the same care, quality, and familiar faces every time.

Sam works alongside Victoria in the retouch department. Sam is a talented artist and alongside working with Grain & Weave, she sells her own commissioned artwork.

John | Founder & Managing Director

John founded Grain & Weave with a vision: to bring ease and trust back into family photography. Although he no longer shoots, he works closely with the team on quality, training, and the creative direction behind every image we deliver.
